Pyogenic granuloma (PG) is a benign lesion that occurs in the skin and mucous membrane as inflammatory hyperplasia. Chronic, mild, local irritation, trauma, hormonal variables, and certain medications are typical causes of pyogenic granulomas. Predominantly, the gingiva is the affected site, whereas PG rarely occurs extra-gingivally. It is a lesion characterized by the proliferation of blood vessels. The diagnosis of pyogenic granuloma is based on biopsy and histopathological assessment. Various modalities have been proposed for the treatment of lesion, which include the conventional approach, the use of laser, cryotherapy, and electrocauterization. This a case report of Pyogenic granuloma excised using soft tissue diode laser.
